Project #8 - SSI's, Sounds, and Other Web Page Elements

Create a folder on your disk that will contain the pages and supporting files for this project. The name of this folder is to be your last name followed by an 8 (eg. Wallace8).

This project is to be identical to project #5 (the project on frames) with the following changes:

• Use layout tables and SSI's for the pages of the web site instead of frames. When the pages of the web site are viewed in a browser, there should be very little visible difference between this project and project 5.
• On the home page of the web site, include some type of sound.
• (optional) Use any other web page features or elements to enhance the content of the pages, but do NOT change the basic layout/design from what you did in project 5.

HELP with this Project

When finished, upload (i.e. copy) the "site folder" for this project to the space provided for you on the department's web server. You should test the copy of the site that you put on the server by accessing it through a web browser (in fact, you should test it in both Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator). Remember, the URL will be something like:

http://cs.bluecc.edu/students/your-last-name/project-folder-name
