Final Project: A Mini-Web-Site

Create a folder on your disk that will contain the pages and supporting files for this project. The name of this folder is to be your last name followed by an F (eg. WallaceF).

The final project is due by 5:00 pm on Tuesday of finals week. After 10:00 am on Wednesday of finals week you will be evaluating the final projects of the other students in the class. Yes, this is required (do it) and will be considered a part of your final project grade.

Create a complete (mini) web site. You are free to use any HTML features that seem appropriate to the design of your web site. The topic of the web site is to be of your choosing.

This project will be graded on the following criteria (10 pts. each):

NOTE: You do NOT need to use every HTML feature.

Questions Regarding Your Web Site

The opening/home page of your web site shall include a link to a page that answers the following questions.

  1. What is the primary purpose of this web site?
  2. Who is your target audience?
  3. If someone visited your web site, why would they return?

When finished, upload (i.e. copy) the "site folder" for this project to the space provided for you on the department's web server. You should test the copy of the site that you put on the server by accessing it through a web browser (in fact, you should test it in both Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator or FireFox). Remember, the URL will be something like:
