MAKEUP TEST POLICY
A
student is expected to take all tests at the scheduled times unless there are
circumstances outside his or her control that prevent the student from being
present. If a test is missed without an adequate excuse, no make
up will be given.
FINAL
The
final for this course will be a retest of your test with the lowest score. The
grade you earn on this test will replace the previous score (for better or
worse).

EXPECTED STUDENT BEHAVIOR
Students enrolled in this course are
expected to exhibit conduct considered to be acceptable in a college setting.
“Disruptive behavior” is any type of student activity that interrupts the
normal flow of information exchange in the classroom in a negative way.
Examples of disruptive behavior include: excessive talking with
out being recognized by the instructor, late arrival in class, argumentative
behavior extending beyond normal classroom interchange, name calling, profane
or racist statements. Such disruptive conduct will not be tolerated because
such conduct interferes with the financial and educational investments of other
students. The instructor will request that a student leave the classroom if his
or her behavior is deemed disruptive. Re-admission to the class can occur only
after consultation with the instructor and a student services representative
depending upon the severity of the incident.

CHEATING
Cheating in any form will not be
tolerated. During examinations the following conduct is expected:
1.
Students must place all books and notes underneath their desks and scratch
paper must be removed from any notebooks before the test is handed out.
2.
Once the test begins, there is no talking, whispering, gesturing, or looking at
other student’s papers.
If a student is caught in the overt act
of cheating, he or she will receive a failing grade in the course and be
referred to student services. The student may not re-enter the course.
